The Process
QUT is pleased to now be in a position to offer a comprehensive Salary Packaging program to all eligible staff. QUT has appointed Package Plus Australia Pty Ltd (PackagePlus), a division of the FleetPlus Group of Companies to manage all aspects of QUT’s salary packaging program, it is PackagePlus’ role to assist you with all aspects of salary packaging, from your initial enquiry through to coordinating payroll deductions.
To the right you will see links to a number of valuable tools that have been specially designed to provide further information on the salary packaging options available to you. The QUT flashmedia presentation is an interactive tool that will outline the
key workings of salary packaging, the QUT Salary Packaging Policy adds more
detail and lists the full item options available.

QUT will periodically review the portfolio of benefit items and reserves the right to make changes to this range to reflect taxation changes and ensure efficient and effective administration.
The Consultation
PackagePlus will provide QUT employees with services to make the process of accessing salary packaging an easy and positive experience. Your first contact with PackagePlus will typically be with a salary packaging adviser. These advisers visit QUT sites on a regular basis to provide you with the opportunity to speak face-to-face about your circumstances. If it is more convenient, you can contact PackagePlus over the telephone by calling 1300 LES TAX or by emailing enquiry@packageplus.com.au
To make the most of the time available during your consultation, please bring with you any relevant documents. These may include, but are not limited to, a recent payslip, details of the make and model of car you are intending to lease or a tax invoice and proof of payment if you have recently purchased a laptop computer.
QUT Staff Giving Program:
QUT's staff giving appeal was launched to promote and recognise the culture of giving at QUT. As a staff member, you can nominate from a range of areas to contribute through payroll donations (salary sacrifice) or one-off gifts. Through the program, QUT wish to promote a proud culture of giving, philanthropy and community engagement that QUT shares.
